What happens after you reach out
- You contact us with the option and the rough amount you have in mind.
- We reply to confirm the details and the payment options actually available — nothing is charged on this page.
- You complete the support in whatever way you agree with us. No automatic billing, no minimum.
- We follow up on where it went, and — with your permission — add you to our supporters list.
What backers get
- Honest updates on what your support helped ship — directly and through our Insights posts.
- An early look at new work when we have something worth previewing.
- Optional recognition: your name or company listed publicly, or stay anonymous — your call.
- A view of what's next through our public activity on Insights and GitHub. We don't run a formal public roadmap yet, but we'll happily share context on request.
- Bigger sponsorships: any recognition or deliverables are scoped and agreed in writing first.

How Can You Help?
Offer Assistance
We believe in the power of community. Whether you're a developer, designer, marketer, or domain expert — there's a place for you in building the future of African tech.
Contribute to our open-source projects on GitHub. Fix bugs, add features, or improve documentation.
Partner with us on client projects or internal products. Bring your expertise, we provide the platform.
Share your experience with our team and the broader African tech community through workshops or talks.
We offer structured internship programs for students and recent graduates looking to gain real-world experience.
What happens after you apply
- You send the form (or email us directly — details are on the contact page).
- We read it. If there's a fit or a next step, we reply — usually by email first, to talk it through.
- We agree scope and terms up front: paid, contract, volunteer or internship. Nothing starts until that's clear.
- You start on a real, defined piece of work with the team.
What contributors get
- Public credit for your work where you want it — code, design, writing or talks.
- Real shipping experience on live products, useful for portfolios and references.
- An early look at what we're building, when there's something you can try.
- Some collaborations are paid, some are volunteer or open-source — we agree which, and on what terms, before any work begins.
Share Your Suggestions
Your ideas shape our products. Whether it's a feature request, a new product idea, or an improvement to existing tools — we want to hear from you.
Tell us what features would make our products more useful for your workflow.
Found something broken? Help us improve by reporting bugs and issues.
Have an idea for a completely new product? We're always looking for the next big thing to build.
Anything else on your mind? We read every submission and reply when there's something to follow up on.
What happens to your suggestion
- It gets read and triaged — bugs, feature requests and new ideas go to the right backlog.
- If we act on it, you'll hear from us (leave your email so we can).
- If we don't, it usually comes down to impact and fit right now — not your idea being bad.
- Found a bug in something open source? GitHub issues are often the fastest path.

Where your support goes
Whether it's funding, time or feedback, support keeps three things moving. Here's what that means in practice — described honestly, without invented percentages.
Building and improving the products themselves: the AI platform, Synapse AI, Vista Cinema, marketplace tools and the internal systems behind them. Design, code, testing and iteration — this is the bulk of what we do.
Hosting, domains, model and inference credits, CI, and the security and monitoring that keep everything online. Infrastructure is unglamorous, but it's what keeps the free tiers and the uptime honest.
Documentation, tutorials, Insights posts and the open-source work on GitHub. Sharing what we learn takes real time, and support helps pay for it.
A note on numbers: we don't publish a fixed percentage split — it shifts with whatever we're building that month. If you want to know exactly where a specific contribution went, ask us and we'll tell you what it covered.
Questions before you help
Straight answers to the things people reasonably ask before supporting, contributing or reaching out.
Most support here is community backing — a donation or sponsorship, not an investment. Nothing on this page is an offer of securities, and no financial return is promised or implied. The "Investment" option exists so strategic conversations can start, but any equity discussion happens privately, case by case, and only becomes real through formal written agreements.
There's no online checkout on this page yet. Pick an option above (or just tell us what you'd like to do), reach out through the contact page, and we'll confirm the payment options actually available at the time. Nothing is charged until you've agreed it with us directly.
No. We're based in South Africa, but the community we build with isn't borders-locked — you can fund, contribute or suggest from anywhere. Collaboration happens remotely, and we'll confirm what payment methods are available to you when you reach out.
Yes — companies can sponsor work, partner on projects, or fund specific efforts. Get in touch and we'll scope it together, including what recognition, if any, makes sense for you. Sponsorships are agreed case by case rather than sold as fixed packages, and we won't promise deliverables we can't keep.
No guaranteed product or payout — this isn't a purchase. What we offer where we can: honest updates on what your support helped ship, an early look at new work when there's something to preview, and optional public recognition (or anonymity). Contributors get credit on shipped work, and anything paid is agreed in writing before the work starts.
